Experiencing Windows 11 Woes? Want Widows 10 back?

Were you like me? Did you jump on the free Windows 11 operating system  upgrade bandwagon from Windows 10, which was working perfectly well at the time, only to discover a world of configuration problems, missing apps, as well as a new look that eradicated all the perfect and fine tuned and useful tools on the file explorer navigation bar?

To make matters worse you failed to read the fine print that stated that you had only ten days to try Windows 11 before it became irreversible.

Six months later. Are your tears still falling? Stop pulling at your weave! And for god sake, don’t sling your pc or laptop out the nearest window. Help is here!!!!

For months there was no solution to reversing windows 11 back to widows 10. In all truth, I disliked Windows 11 appearance. The taskbar, start window and file explorer were changed. All things that made working with windows easy were either moved or removed all together.

After months of trying programs and codes that promised to restore or replace the Windows 10 appearance for use within Windows 11, which only ended with minimum results that did nothing, but ghost themselves on top of Windows 11 and only added to the display confusion, I had had enough and thankfully Microsoft came out with a solution.

The solution is to reinstall the entire Windows 10 operating system by downgrading from Windows 11 for all times.

Therefore, for those of you who were like me and were too quick in downloading and installing Windows 11 here are links for returning Windows 10 to your beloved pc.

Follow the direction on the Microsoft’s Create Media Creation Tool for Windows 10. However, it is also a very good idea to first watch and re-watch if necessary the two videos below that show just what steps to expect when reinstalling Windows 10.

Step 1 being, backup all your personal files and programs that you purchased.

Until next time,

     Chow, Darlings

P.S.   In case there arise some questioning about the legality and licensing of this downgrade, I assure you that it is all legal and provided from Microsoft for those wishing to return to their licensed Windows 10 operating system.

In short it’s FREE!

Red Waxed Amaryllises Updated Two

 Hello, Darlings

We hope you all had an overall great holiday season. For us Catholics the Christmas season is six weeks long, so we are still within it.

Today, as promised are photos of the Waxed Amaryllises in blooms. opened fully after New Year Day.

As stated in my previous post, it is amazing that these Amaryllises bloomed in waxed. I think the whole process is wonderful. However, these flowers are not the true red Amaryllises I expected for Christmas. Only the bulbs is wrapped red wax.

Wonderful idea, however, when buying online, as I did these, like me you might get the true red color you want. Therefore, I give these waxed Amaryllises four stars out of five because of their colors.

Until nest time,

Red Waxed Amaryllises Updated

 Hello, Darlings

As promised, below are a couple photos showing today's growth progress of the two Red Waxed Amaryllises I bought.

Next year I will add a snowy backdrop to hide the dvds on the shelves.

In truth, although these bulbs were sold as red amaryllis, they look more like Tropical orange-gold amaryllis blooms, which is considered one of the hardest amaryllis plant for harsh winter weather.

Nevertheless, as expected these amaryllises should be in full bloom on New Year's Day. I will update this post on that day.

Until next time,

        Chow, Darlings

Happy Holidays 2022!

 Happy Holidays, Everyone!

I have had one heillobouu (is that even a word) of a week, but regardless of the nonsense going on around me, I want to share a little bit of my Christmas 2022 with you. In past few years I have developed an interest for miniature Christmas villages. I started by buying one or two pieces a year.  Here what is a portion of it look like today.

These two Red Waxed Amaryllises are the latest thing. While they have just to bloom, their growth rate under plant light is amazing. I received them on November 23th and immediately placed them under the plant lights. It is four days before Christmas and they will probably bloom in time for the New Year. I usually buy the regular bulbs; they too grow and bloom well under plant lights.  Nevertheless, these waxed covered Amaryllis are a wonder to me, and I wanted give them a try. Once they bloom, I will update this post.

About this Christmas cactus. I nurtured it for years and it never bloomed. Earlier this spring, I doubled up on feeding blooming fertilizer, dry and wet. Last month before the high wind from the tropical storms arrived it was showing some buds, but when the storms past through, the buds went with them. I thought no flowers this year. However, I continued to feed and water as usual, and a week after the storms there were new buds all over the plant. I then brought it in the house and placed it under the plant light. And, Wow! This old cactus plants loves it. The blooms are big and beautiful, so I guess the secret it a big luscious cactus plant that blooms just in time for  Christmas into give it plenty of blooming fertilizer throughout the year

I hope you have enjoyed my little Christmas display

Stan and I wish all A Happy and Wonderful Christmas Season and Prosperous New Year.

God Bless!
