Hello, Darlings
The last time I posted I was restoring my iron patio rocking chairs. Well, I have finished and place both of them back in my Mary Garden under protective covers to help prevent rain damage. I also stated that I had thrown out the old iron bench and the two reclining chairs because of extensive damage done by vandals and rust. Therefore, I just did not see it as cost effective to repair them as it would be to simply replace them, which I have done.
Old damaged recliners. To see damaged the bench watch the video in the previous post.
New bench and reclining chairs unboxed.
Although there are protective covers for these new patio furniture pieces, I am unsure as to putting them out right now. This is because we are in Florida’s hurricane season, and I rather wait for the weather to be more stable.
I love my Mary Garden and hate it that some people came into it and killed some of the plants, as well as damaged the old patio furniture in it. I am not sure if these actions were anti-Catholic or just plain meanness on part of the vandals. However, I do know those who are ultimately responsible? And, so do the police department here.
Nevertheless, once I feel comfortable about the weather conditions, I will get my Mary Garden back to its glorious state of beauty, as well as the paved portion of the garden on the other side of the garage.
In addition, some time ago I knocked over my indoor Mary and Child statue. She lost a hand and had a hole in her head. Pretty much like me (not literally). Some say it’s more of a psychic thing. No, I am not crazy and most of all there is no adverse affects on my intelligence and mental processes. My condition has been proven, more than once; although, I try to live a peaceful uninterrupted life, there are some people exploiting me because of it for their own gain. However, whatever is happening with my head, unlike me, Mary’s head can be mended, which is what I am doing now.
Well, this is where my DIY restoring projects stand right now, but once the weather is better, I will post the finish works.
Until, next time,
Chow, Darlings
