Here is a quick update on the repair of my Mother Mary statue. As you know her head and hand were broken some time ago, and I opted to mend her instead of tossing her out. After all, she is a huge part of my faith, and it would seem profane to me to just to toss her away. Because of the type of paints I am using, I give each coat plenty of time to dry, but below is what is done so far.
Because this is a new century, and I like everything to be a little brighter, I chose more brilliant colors over the more subdued ones she came with as seen in the first photo.
