Deeper Fryer Cornish Hen

 Hello, Darlings

It’s been awhile since my last post. Since then, we have moved and the new house still looks like we just moved into it. At ages 74, we are doing well but this move has exhausted us. Although all of the boxes were labeled for which room they were to be placed, to my displeasure, many of them ended up in areas that now have us hunting for them.

Anyway, exhaustion aside, we will get the house in order soon. I am looking forward to setting up my hydroponic systems and growing my own lettuce, tomatoes and herbs. I miss the baby eggplants.

Below is little Cornish hen recipe just for you. If you have never done it, this is a deep fryer Cornish hen recipe and not a oven roasted one. I came up with this recipe, because I was hunger, tired and too impatience to oven roast it, so I quartered it instead, then battered it with flour and seasonings, like I would with a regular chicken. All the while I was wondering if this method of cooking a Cornish hen was ever done before, and believe it or not, after a little research, I never found a recipe for deep fried Cornish hen What I found was that many cooks use a little cooking oil and oven fried the hen like one would oven fry a regular chicken, and called it deep fried Cornish hen or game hen. That was not what I was looking, so below is my newly created deep fryer Cornish hen recipe.

  9. Add hen to deep fryer again and fry for 15 minutes, or skin is golden brown and blood flows from the parts
